Open Innovation Strategy
Austria is the first EU Member State to have developed a comprehensive national Open Innovation Strategy.
An Open Innovation Strategy for Austria was drawn up in 2016 in a broad-based participatory process involving not only stakeholders from research, science and business but also interested members of the general public. The strategy provides an analysis of the national and international status quo on the subject of open innovation while providing a vision for 2025 and concrete measures to carry out.
